Join the Earth Day Celebration organized by Making Earth Cool. The event will kick off at 11:30am with a meet-up at Sunnyside Schoolyard located at SE 35th & Taylor St. A parade featuring plant and animal costumes, signs, and sounds will commence at 12pm, looping around the neighborhood. At 1:30pm, a non-religious EARTH 'CHURCH' celebration will take place at Sunnyside Community Center, SE 35th & Yamhill St. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite flora or fauna. Come prepared for a festive and eco-conscious gathering!
