Delete Your Soonlist Account

You can permanently delete your Soonlist account and its associated data from the Soonlist app for iOS or Android.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Soonlist and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open your account settings.
3. Select “Delete Account.”
4. Confirm that you want to permanently delete the account.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you cannot access the app or your account, email jaron@soonlist.com from the email address associated with your Soonlist account and request account deletion.

Data that is deleted

Deleting your account removes your Soonlist profile and authentication account, events and uploaded event content, lists, comments, follows, notification tokens, and other app data associated with your account. Data belonging to other users is not deleted.

Data that may be retained

Deletion from Soonlist's active systems begins immediately. Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 30 days before they expire. We may retain limited records for longer when required by law, including transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records. Subscription purchase records maintained by Google Play or Apple are governed by those services' own retention policies.

Delete individual content

You can delete individual events, lists, and other content from Soonlist without deleting your account. For help with a specific data deletion request, contact jaron@soonlist.com.
