Soonlist's Mission

Soonlist's work will be done when:

Someone anywhere from Walla Walla, Portland, Detroit, Queens, to Koenji can leave Instagram and not only stay connected to community events across their interests, but show up more to:
- Listening deeply at experimental music shows on a weeknight
- Reading at the poetry open-mic at their local bookstore
- And finally attending the organizing meeting of that activist org they've been interested in for years
AND the organizers in each of those thriving scenes can pour more energy into what they love:
- Building friendships, cross-pollinating with other scenes, and taking time offline to relax
- While they're confident their event information is reaching both their core community and newcomers
- And their scene's continuing flourishing isn't dependent on any attention-economy platform

Until then, there's lots of work to do!
